Honestly, I have no idea who designs the skills in this game, but Sai can stack 100% damage in a single turn. It's ridiculous and on top of that, it stacks.

Sai is by far the most balanced character in the game.

A single skill is around 25 damage for a usage. Sai has to spend 4 (2 for setup and 2 to cast for a 30dmg attack.) to *maybe" hit for 100.

Whereas you have characters and team comps pushing for 1 shot at 3 chakra and just rolling for lucky chakra gen.

Nevermind the last tweak to him showed him at 50.3 w/l

His setup ability cost 2 chakra. That sh is expensive.
You can ignore invul (Kiba, Shikamaru) + stun to make him lose his damage.
You can use abilities that ignore invul to kill him anyway (Obito, Asuma's execute, Kakuzu's execute etc.)
You can use characters that increase cost (Inoichi, Zabuza etc.)
You can use counters, reflects, nullify, Ino's mind-body disturbance + cancel then go 3 invul in 1 turn etc. etc.
You can literally avoid using AoE (or use it with something like Might Guy's *Counter Punch*). You can keep damage low until you have enough chakra to nuke him in 1 turn
You can use delayed skills (Shino's Bugs - it's instant, not damage, so it doesn't trigger damage buff)
Also you realize he deals *normal* damage, right? Like the devs have to give everyone affliction / piercing damage because almost everyone in this game has some form of damage reduction / destructible defense. Gaara Rehab, Jiraiya, Asuma, Naruto, Sasuke, Obito etc etc. so even with damage buff he can't do sh while you erase him

Plenty of counter-strategies around

I just got stun locked because of his snake justu even though I USED GAARA TO STUN HIS NON MENTAL SKILLS. ONTOP OF THIS SKILL HAS NO COOLDOWN AND COST ONE GENJUSTU.
