In this topic I will be posting my thoughts as well as strategies and tactics I came up with.Updates will be ongoing. May also be posting how to use certain teams. Posting your own opinions and strategies are welcome as well.

Let's begin with a few concepts that I cared to name, and which are quite useful during the game.

Concepts

-Sweep; Using an AoE ability to clear battlefield of counters before using a more valuable ability. Best done with cheap AoE (e.g. 1 random / no cost)

-AoE Counter; Using reflect / counter ability to prevent enemy's AoE. I noticed how this works changes quite often depending on character and / or ability. Test on your own

-Nuke; Any combination of skills where the damage is >= 100

-Setup; Anything that's done before executing a combo

Quick Tactics FAQ

How to deal with AoE abilities?[/i]
- Damage reduction if they're low damage.
- If you have stunners and there aren't more important targets (like healers etc.), stun them
- If their AoE is high cost, make 2 of 3 of your characters go invulnerable. Makes their AoE a single-target
for a turn and may make them reconsider, winning you another turn to stun / deal with them.

How to deal with counters / reflects?
- If no uncounterable / reflect abilities, use an AoE to trigger every counter and strike then

Strategies / Metas

Low cost

Description: As the name implies, this strategy is all about minifying costs while maximizing damage.Basically anyone that has 1 / no cost abilities. Even better if the main type of chakra the character uses is "random".

Example characters:

✅Strengths
- Resistant to chakra stealing
- Because their abilities cost little every character can act every turn
- Resistant to stuns (because even when one is stunned, the others can act and / or use their more costly abilities)

❌Weaknesses
- Because their abilities are cheap, they often deal little damage without earlier setup or some conditions being met

How I play the Game

I'd describe my strategy as follows:

1. If you can attack, attack. The game ends when the enemy loses all characters. You can destroy them only by dealing damage obviously. That's why I avoid using heals until my character drops to low health. I think people also tend to avoid using high-damage abilities on characters with low health, so destructible defense and heals are even stronger, because they use weak ability to try and finish it off, so you could keep it low, heal, put up defenses and really stretch out how long it survives
2. Use heals, destructible defense, damage reduction etc. to buy time. You should really spam it, because even 5 destructible defense quickly adds up over multiple turns.
3. I try to make it such that each character can be either on the defense (with abilities mentioned above + counters, reflects etc.) or offense (damage, stuns etc.) the reason is simple: If your harmful skills are stunned, you can still use supporting abilities. If all your skills are stunned, your damage reduction / destructible defense will at least absorb some damage. That's why any healing character + Naruto is so strong (15 unpiercable DR + 5 heal /turn + additional healing ON TOP OF additional % damage reduction if you pick someone like Rin makes him a tank that can turn the tide of the game)
